Laadli to Laadli Mentorship Program

Are you confused about what you need to do to become a doctor or lawyer? Do you want to hear about someone’s journey of becoming an artist? Have you already started your journey in one field but might want to look into a different one? Do you want to provide support but also receive guidance?

That’s why we created the Laadli to Laadli Mentorship Program. If you're living and working in Canada and seeking guidance on your academic or career journey, we’re here to help. We’ll connect you with South Asian mentors—women aged 22 and older—who are thriving in the academic or professional field you aspire to join. This program is designed to support you in any way that we can.

  • It was a refreshing experience to be able to provide my mentee with insight, information and resources around the field that I felt like I had no clue about when I was first getting started in it. I was thankful and appreciative to have this opportunity to share this information that will hopefully allow someone to make a decision about their career and see if it will be a route they want to take.

  • I was connected to my mentor during a stressful time for graduate school applications. This program helped me connect with someone in my field and gain more insight and guidance when working on my applications. We met every week and my mentor helped me work through everything I had to do and provide feedback from her own experience.
